Job summary

MSI is seeking a Sales Representative to drive growth of Tile product lines within retailer and dealer networks in an assigned territory. Build relationships, train store personnel, and position MSI products effectively through pricing, promotions, and collateral.

You will analyze market trends, manage deliveries, and travel up to 90% for local and occasional overnight trips. Strong math, communication, and negotiation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Previous sales experience is a plus.
• Industry experience is beneficial but not required.
• Strong math skills for calculating discounts, interest, commissions, percentages, area, and volume.
• Self-motivated and results-driven, with the ability to work independently and in teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM platforms preferred.
• Strong communication, presentation, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain relationships with customers within designated territories to drive sales of flooring and countertop products.
• Provide product knowledge and training to store personnel for effective selling.
• Understand products, competition and strategies to position MSI favorably.
• Manage displays, samples, and selling tools for availability.
• Quote prices, discuss terms, and prepare sales contracts.
• Estimate delivery dates based on schedules.
• Analyze sales reports to identify opportunities with customers.
• Travel up to 90% with local focus and occasional overnights.
