Job summary

MSI seeks a Sales Representative to grow sales and margins for Tile products within retailer and dealer networks in an assigned territory. Responsibilities include training store personnel, negotiating terms, managing displays, pricing, and ROI.

Travel up to 90% will be required, with local and occasional overnight trips. Bachelor’s degree preferred; valid driver’s license required; bilingual Spanish a plus; MSI offers bonuses, PTO, health/dental/vision, 401(k) with match, and tuition

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Previous sales experience is a plus.
• Strong math skills for discounts, commissions, and ROI.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain relationships with retailers and dealers to drive sales and promote MSI products.
• Provide product knowledge and training to store personnel.
• Understand products, market competition, and strategies to position MSI effectively.
• Manage displays, samples, and selling tools for product availability.
• Quote prices, discuss credit terms, and prepare sales contracts.
• Estimate delivery dates based on MSI schedules.
• Analyze sales reports to identify opportunities with customers.
• Utilize marketing tools (catalogs, brochures) to expand territory reach.
• Research customer needs and market trends to understand demand.
• Resolve delivery, return, and credit issues.
• Attend trade shows as required.
• Willing to travel up to 90% with local and overnight trips.
