Job summary

MSI is seeking a Sales Representative to grow tile, countertop, and related product lines in a Florida territory, focusing on retailers and dealers. You will train staff, analyze market trends, and manage pricing and contracts while traveling locally and occasionally overnight to cover the region.

Ideal candidates have strong math, communication, and negotiation skills, plus experience in sales. A Bachelor's degree is preferred and a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Must possess a valid driver’s license
• Previous sales experience is a plus
• Industry experience beneficial but not required
• Strong math skills for discounts, commissions, percentages
• Self-motivated and results-driven, able to work independently and in teams
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; CRM experience preferred
• Strong communication, presentation, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain relationships with retailers and dealers to drive sales in assigned territories.
• Provide product knowledge and training to store personnel to aid presenting products and negotiating with customers.
• Understand products, market competition, and strategies to position MSI offerings.
• Manage displays, samples, and selling tools to ensure product availability.
• Quote prices, discuss terms, and prepare sales contracts for orders.
• Estimate delivery dates based on MSI schedules and coordinate with customers.
• Analyze sales reports to identify opportunities with current and potential customers.
• Utilize catalogs, brochures, and vendor collateral to expand territory reach.
