Job summary

MSI is seeking a Sales Representative to grow sales and margins in the tile and countertop lines within an assigned US territory. You will cultivate relationships with retailers and dealers, train staff, and position MSI products to maximize profitability.

You will analyze market trends, manage displays, and coordinate promotions while traveling up to 90% of the time. This role requires strong math, negotiation, and communication skills and a proactive, independent work style.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; valid driver’s license required.
• Strong math skills for discounts, commissions, percentages, area and volume.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; CRM experience preferred.
• Self-motivated, results-driven; able to work independently and in teams.
• Excellent communication, presentation, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain relationships with retailers and dealers to drive sales.
• Provide product knowledge and training to store personnel for effective selling.
• Understand products, competition and strategies to position MSI offerings.
• Manage displays, samples, and selling tools for availability.
• Quote prices, discuss terms, and prepare sales contracts for orders.
• Estimate delivery dates based on MSI schedules.
• Analyze sales reports to identify opportunities with customers.
• Utilize catalogs and collateral to expand territory reach.
• Research customer needs and market trends.
