Job summary

MSI is seeking a Sales Representative to grow sales and profit margins of countertop, tile, and related products within a defined territory. You will work with fabricators, K&B retailers, and dealer networks to expand MSI’s market share.

Role requires strong relationship-building skills, negotiation ability, and willingness to travel up to 90% with local focus. Bachelor’s degree preferred and a valid driver’s license are required or advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Valid driver’s license required
• Previous sales experience is a plus
• Strong math skills for discounts, interest, commissions
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; CRM experience preferred
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers within assigned territories, focusing on retailer and dealer networks.
• Promote flooring and countertop products to drive sales growth.
• Provide product training and support to store personnel to enhance selling effectiveness.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of MSI products, market trends, and competitive landscape.
• Prepare quotes, discuss credit terms, and create sales contracts for orders.
• Travel up to 90%, mostly local with occasional overnight trips.
