Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Act in line with Floor & Decor core values.
• Follow safety procedures and forklift certification requirements.
• Teach and reinforce the basic P’s of retail: People, Position, Product, Presentation, Price, Promotion, Purchasing.
• Provide direction to product sales specialists for attentive customer service.
• Complete product specialist certification courses.
• Understand merchandise and installation.
• Maintain department merchandising, pricing and organization.
• Communicate SOP changes to associates in a timely manner.
• Assist customers with product questions and selections.
• Process transactions at checkout using POS.
• Handle refunds and exchanges per guidelines.
• Present brief how-to classes to customers.
• Stock and label merchandise displays.
