Qualifications

• 1 year of customer service/sales experience or equivalent
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Act in line with company values
• Comply with safe lifting procedures
• Teach the basic P’s of retail: People, Position, Product, Presentation, Price, Promotion, Purchasing
• Provide direction to product sales specialists for high-level customer service
• Complete product specialist certification courses
• Understand merchandise and installation
• Oversee merchandising, pricing and department organization
• Communicate SOPs to associates
• Complete forklift certification tests
• Communicate inventory needs to management
• Assist with processing merchandise to showroom floor
• Validate product placement and pricing
• Greet customers and assist with product questions
• Process sales at checkout using POS
• Handle refunds and exchanges per guidelines
• Present how-to classes to customers
• Follow payment procedures
• Answer phones per guidelines
• Stock and tag merchandise displays
• Create price tags and signs
