Job summary

Inserso Corporation seeks a Network Support Technician (Temporary) in Phoenix, AZ to deliver Tier 2 IT support for DHS customers worldwide. The role covers onsite and remote services, including LAN and device support, server configurations, backups, and reporting.

Qualifications

Associate Degree or equivalent experience.
1+ years’ IT-related support experience, preferably in a helpdesk or customer support role.
Must be a U.S. Citizen and pass the DHS Employment Eligibility Verification process.
Must pass Motor Vehicle Records check and be travel-ready (less than 20%).
Comfortable working in a Law Enforcement environment and following PPE/social distancing rules.

Responsibilities

Provide LAN administrator support with installation, configuration and maintenance of network devices and servers.
Support network-attached devices (computers, printers, biometric devices, etc.).
Support mobile and wireless devices (smartphones, tablets, hotspots).
Assist in testing and maintaining server configurations and security patches.
Monitor system health and backups, including restore testing and health checks.
Manage ITSM tickets (ServiceNow) and document resolutions.
Provide daily/weekly/monthly activity reports.
Provide inventory input for the customer’s inventory system.
Install and maintain video teleconferencing infrastructure and support requests.
Participate in after-hours on-call rotation and special projects.
