Job summary

Inserso is seeking Network Support Technicians to support DHS customers worldwide, delivering onsite and remote Tier II IT support to minimize downtime. The role includes handling hardware, software, networking, cloud services, and related IT issues in a fast-paced environment.

The Network Support Technician reports to an Area Technical Lead and participates in after-hours support and surge staffing as needed, with potential travel for government locations.

Qualifications

• Must be a US citizen and pass DHS verification.
• Minimum of a Secret security clearance.
• Associate degree or equivalent experience.
• 1+ year of IT-related support experience, preferably in helpdesk.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot desktop, network, or IT issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide LAN administrator support with installation, configuration and maintenance of network devices, servers, and storage.
• Support networked devices including computers, printers, and sensors.
• Assist in testing and applying server configurations and security patches.
• Monitor health of systems and backups and perform restore testing.
• Manage and update ServiceNow tickets and document actions.
