Job summary

Inserso Corporation seeks Network Support Technicians to provide onsite and remote Tier 2 IT support for DHS customers worldwide. The role covers hardware, software, network diagnostics, cloud services, and related IT operations, reporting to an Area Technical Lead.

The position requires a DHS clearance background and the ability to work independently or with supervision, including after-hours on-call rotations and potential travel.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen and ability to pass DHS E-Verify.
• Minimum 1+ years IT support experience.
• Must hold a minimum Secret security clearance.
• Associate degree or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to travel up to ~20% as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide LAN admin support with installation, configuration and maintenance of network devices, servers, storage arrays, and tape backup units.
• Support networked devices including computers, printers, biometrics, medical equipment, and smart displays.
• Support mobile and wireless devices (phones, tablets, hotspots).
• Assist in testing and applying server configurations and security patches.
• Maintain system health and backups with restore testing.
• Monitor ServiceNow tickets and apply troubleshooting to resolve issues.
• Provide regular activity reports and maintain inventory input.
• Install and maintain video conferencing infrastructure and assist users.
• Participate in after-hours on-call rotations and special projects.
• Perform new equipment deployments and deployment support.
• Provide cabling in data centers and Ethernet rooms.
• Analyze business requirements and assist design and implementation of IT systems.
• Contribute to technical discussions and documentation for customer needs.
• Develop requirements for architecture and COTS product deployment.
