Job summary

Leidos in the Digital Modernization Sector seeks a Tier II Incident Management Technician to support LAN/WAN data communications, incident troubleshooting, and network performance. The role uses ServiceNow, Microfocus, and Riverbed tools to manage events and coordinate remediation.

You will handle ticketing, network device administration, VLANs, and layer-3 routing, with a focus on rapid fault isolation across the WAN. Shift is 6am–6pm in a day schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience with DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 required.
• TS/SCI with Poly clearance required.
• 10 years of combined work history and education required; multiple education paths allowed.

Responsibilities

• Support LAN/WAN device installation and maintenance.
• Respond to and resolve incident tickets in ServiceNow.
• Administer networks: hardware, software, configurations.
• Coordinate network operations, maintenance, upgrades.
• Validate topology drawings and asset records accuracy.
• Troubleshoot OSI layers 1–3; configure VLANs and routing.
• Troubleshoot MPLS across the WAN.
• Evaluate new network tech and advise integration.
• Plan hardware and communications adequacy.
• Use Microfocus and Riverbed to identify issues quickly.
• Communicate with vendors to resolve incidents.
• Diagnose hardware/software problems and coordinate replacements.
