Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Tier II Network Technician to support customer data communications systems, including design, testing, and upgrades. You will install and maintain LAN/WAN devices, respond to incidents, perform changes, and assist Tier III engineers while maintaining accurate asset records.

Travel up to 20% is expected and DoD 8140 IAT Level 2 clearance is required; flexibility in hours; equipment upgrades and topology documentation are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with poly and ability to obtain/maintain security clearance.
• 10+ years of combined work history and education in network engineering.
• DoD 8140 IAT Level 2 certification or higher.
• Availability to travel up to 20% and work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Support installation and maintenance of client LAN/WAN devices.
• Respond to incidents, troubleshoot, and communicate with the team.
• Complete tasks within SLOs/SLAs.
• Draft and implement standard network change requests.
• Provide support to Tier III engineers for incidents and projects.
• Update topology drawings and maintain asset records.
• Coordinate network operations, maintenance, repairs or upgrades.
• Perform IOS upgrades on Cisco/Juniper/Fo undry devices.
• Assist with Visio network diagrams and use ServiceNow/Confluence.
