Leidos is seeking a Government Network Operations Center (GNOC) Tier II Incident Management Technician to support the client’s LAN/WAN data communications and incident response. You will manage network events, assist with configurations, and perform OSI-based troubleshooting across the enterprise.

Responsibilities include incident handling in ServiceNow, VLAN and layer-3 routing configuration, MPLS WAN troubleshooting, and collaboration with vendors to resolve issues.

Competenze

• TS/SCI with active polygraph clearance
• 10 years of combined work experience/education equivalent
• Compliance with DoD 8140 IAT Level 2
• Coordinate network operations, maintenance, repairs or upgrades
• Professional experience with OSI layers 1, 2 and 3 to troubleshoot faults
• Hands on with Cisco and/or Juniper routers
• Extensive MPLS troubleshooting across the WAN
• Able to work evening shift

• Support installation and maintenance of client LAN/WAN devices
• Respond to, update, and resolve incident tickets in ServiceNow
• Administer networks including hardware, systems software, and config
• Validate topology drawings and keep asset records accurate
• Troubleshoot OSI layers 1-3 to resolve network faults and performance issues
• Configure/troubleshoot VLANs and layer-3 routing
• Troubleshoot MPLS across the WAN
• Evaluate new network technologies and advise integration
• Ensure hardware and communications plans are adequate
• Develop methodologies for LAN/WAN analysis, testing, and support
• Use Microfocus and Riverbed tools to identify and isolate incidents
• Coordinate with vendors/service providers to resolve incidents
• Diagnose hardware/software problems and coordinate replacements
