Job summary
Leidos Inc in the Chantilly, VA area seeks a Tier II Incident Management Technician to support computer data communications, providing network event management and incident troubleshooting. Work is on a Panama Day shift (6am–6pm) supporting LAN/WAN devices, topology validation, and asset management. Must have TS/SCI with CI Poly and DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 credentials.
Qualifications
- Ten years of combined work history and education are required.
- Experience with network incident management and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of OSI model layers 1–3 and VLANs is essential.
- Experience coordinating with vendors and service providers is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Respond to and resolve incident tickets within ServiceNow.
- Support installation and maintenance of LAN/WAN devices.
- Administer networks including hardware, software and configurations.
- Coordinate network maintenance, repairs, or upgrades.
- Validate topology drawings and update asset records.
- Troubleshoot OSI layers 1–3 and MPLS across WAN.
- Configure VLANs and inter-site routing.
- Evaluate new network technologies for integration.
- Develop testing methods for LAN/WAN performance.
- Communicate with vendors to resolve incidents.
