Job summary

TEKsystems in York, PA is seeking a Desktop Tech (Tier II) to join a small team supporting roughly 1,000 end users. The role reports to senior techs and is fully onsite at the York facility, contract position with a pay range of $20.00 to $30.00 per hour.

You will handle helpdesk requests via phone, chat, email or in person, perform setup and troubleshooting, document resolutions in ServiceNow, and stay current with ITIL foundations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Helpdesk/Desktop and customer support experience.
• Familiarity with ITIL foundations.
• Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Remedy) preferred.
• Experience with VPNs, VMware, Office 365, antivirus, networking, AD, Windows preferred.
• Technical certifications (A+, Network+, Security+, MCP, IAT) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and respond quickly to helpdesk requests.
• Serve as the contact with users via in person, phone, chat or email.
• Provide technical assistance on delivery, configuration, setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of computer systems.
• Categorize and record queries and provide solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and escalate urgent issues.
• Track and document resolutions in ServiceNow.
• Train other staff on troubleshooting.
