Job summary

Astor & Sanders Corporation in Menlo Park, CA seeks a Tier 2 Mac Support Specialist to provide expert hardware and software support for Windows and Mac desktops and laptops onsite.

You will configure, test and install printers and scanners, apply BIOS updates, manage file shares and permissions, and document service requests while delivering exceptional user assistance and collaborating with IT colleagues.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of related experience.
• 6 months vocational certificate (CompTIA A+ Apple support) preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of Windows operating systems.
• Strong experience supporting current iOS and macOS.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent documentation, collaborative and communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

The anticipated salary range for this position is $65,000-$73,000 annually. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, candidate skills and education, geographical location, certifications, and business needs, as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position and could fall outside of this range. This salary range represents Astor's good-faith estimate of compensation for the position at the time of posting.
