Job summary

Astor & Sanders Corporation in Reston, VA is seeking a Tier 2 Windows/Mac Support Specialist to provide hands-on hardware and software support for desktops and laptops, configure printers, and assist with file shares and permissions.

The role is onsite in Reston with a salary range of $50,000–$64,000 and full-time benefits including medical and dental, 401k, paid leave, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• 3+ years related experience.
• 6 months experience with a vocational technical school certificate (CompTIA A+ Apple support) is preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of Windows operating systems.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent documentation, collaborative and communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Provide hardware and software support for Windows and Mac desktops and laptops.
• Configure, test and install printers, scanners, network copier/printers.
• Use computer images to install and configure laptops and PCs.
• Ensure latest approved BIOS and patches are applied to PCs and laptops.
• Support users with file shares and permissions issues.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $50000- 64000 annually. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, candidate skills and education, geographical location, certifications, and business needs, as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position and could fall outside of this range. This salary range represents Astor's good‑faith estimate of compensation for the position at the time of posting.
