Job summary

AEG Presents in Austin is seeking a Manager Ticketing to oversee end-to-end ticketing for events. You will build shows in our ticketing system, manage holds and orders for artist management and labels, and prepare daily counts for teams.

You will collaborate with talent buyers, venues, and partners like Groupon to offer discount or group tickets. The role includes training new staff, developing box office strategies, and potentially setting up popup offices for seasonal shows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 4–6 years in entertainment industries.
• Experience in live music or entertainment venues preferred.
• Supervisory experience a plus.
• Familiar with box office operations and arena ticketing platforms.
• Proficient with ticketing systems such as AXS and Ticketmaster.

Responsibilities

• Build shows in ticketing software based on artist and venue data.
• Manage ticket holds and process orders for artist management and labels.
• Distribute daily ticket counts to agents and departments.
• Collaborate with Groupon, Living Social on discounts and group tickets.
• Train new ticketing staff in sales, runs, comps, and coordination.
• May create pop-up box offices for seasonal shows; coordinate with events teams.
