Job summary

AEG is seeking a Box Office Manager in Austin, TX to oversee ticket office operations and lead staff, ensuring efficient service delivery and strong event oversight. The role partners with promoters, artist representatives, and venue teams to administer tickets, inventory, pricing, and reporting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or its equivalency.
• 4-6 years of related work experience.
• Prior supervisory experience required.
• Experience with ticketing systems and databases.
• Strong math aptitude and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Create events with ticketing software and coordinate with GM, Ticketing Manager, Talent Buyers, and Rental Clients.
• Build and maintain the event ticketing system; manage seating inventory from build to settlement.
• Manage box office staffing, scheduling, and training to ensure policy adherence.
• Ensure equipment functions correctly and update ticket/show information in internal software.
• Maintain rapport with artist management and venue; participate in production/promo meetings.
• Lead customer service policy execution and deliver timely, courteous service.
• Produce reports for finance and other departments on settlements and ticket counts.
