UDF-MyScoop Branding in Middletown, OH is hiring an Assistant Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure the Hi Five Guest Experience across shifts. You'll lead associates, manage store administration, and uphold all safety and regulatory requirements.

The role emphasizes coaching, customer service, and efficient point-of-sale operations, with duties including stock, cleanliness, security, and reporting. Strong communication in English and physical ability are required.

Responsibilities

• Managing other associates: assign tasks, coach the Hi Five Guest Experience, and interview applicants.
• Store administration: ordering, reviewing delivery reports, transferring products, and completing paperwork.
• Overall guest services: provide the Hi Five Guest Experience, greet guests warmly, ensure store readiness.
• DipSide guest services: prepare shakes, cappuccinos, sundaes, sodas and hand-packed items.
• POS and gas console: authorize and process transactions, make change, and manage cash handling.
• Stocking merchandise: keep shelves, displays and coolers stocked and rotated, check dates.
• Security: prevent theft, manage cash drop procedures, follow Tobacco/Alcohol management rules.
• Maintenance: keep store and parking lot clean, monitor temperatures and equipment.
• Reporting: complete time records and related documentation accurately.
• Other duties as assigned; speak, hear, and understand English well.
• See well enough to operate equipment and read IDs.
• Follow operating instructions for store equipment.
• Prepare DipSide items using cabinet supplies.
• Handle coins, currency, transactions, coupons and food stamps; make change.
• Count and perform arithmetic for records.
• Move merchandise from storage to displays.
• Clean counters and surfaces.
• Tolerance to temperatures as low as –30°F for 2 minutes and up to +33°F for 10 minutes.
• Lift at least 10 pounds to 5 feet.
• Place an 8" x 10" x 10" package weighing 21 pounds into a dip cabinet.
