Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Senior Thermals Sales Manager to lead the thermal sales team across designated offices and expand market share. You will drive end-user and contractor relationships, develop growth plans, and ensure the team meets quotas while leveraging a Solutions Selling approach.

You will collaborate with ACC Power, Channel, and Service teams to maximize Vertiv’s presence in data center applications and ensure a strong pipeline with multiple tiers of accounts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field; equivalent combination of education and experience accepted.
• 10+ years relevant experience in sales or account management.
• Experience leading and developing personnel, preferably in Thermal industry.
• Knowledge of thermal industry in Data Center and IT applications.
• Experience in proactively managing opportunity pipeline using CRM.
• Proven success in large account sales and account management.
• Strong organizational skills, detail oriented, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of critical support equipment operations for power and mechanical products.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, CRM and Outlook.
• Team player with strong verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Manages Thermal Sales employees and relationships with Contractors, Consultants, Resellers, and End-Users.
• Leads Thermal Sales Plan to achieve quotas and maintain a robust pipeline.
• Ensures adherence to company policies and healthy interoffice relationships.
• Develops and expands thermal accounts, builds long-term client relationships with executives.
• Identifies, negotiates, and closes thermal product opportunities; coordinates cross-selling.
