Job summary

Vertiv seeks a Senior Solutions Architect - Thermal Management to lead technical positioning, specification, and market adoption of our cooling solutions. You will partner with consulting engineers, hyperscale clients, and national sales teams to embed Vertiv as the Basis of Design for modern data centers.

The role is onsite at our Columbus, OH Headquarters, with 10-15% travel. A uncapped Sales Incentive Plan complements base compensation and emphasizes performance across MTDC and key accounts.

Qualifications

• 3–6+ years in technical sales or consulting engineering for data center infrastructure.
• Deep knowledge of data center thermal management and high-density cooling.
• Experience navigating consulting engineering workflows and design cycles.
• Strong ability to present complex concepts in executive-ready format.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Design high-density cooling solutions and establish Vertiv as Basis of Design.
• Co-lead technical pitches, bid strategies, and Lunch & Learns with sales teams.
• Represent Vertiv at trade shows and design reviews to influence roadmaps.
