Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Project Manager for its Energy & Resources team to lead multi-disciplinary teams on thermal generation projects. You will oversee owner’s engineer or detailed design services for simple cycle, combined cycle, and repowering work across North America.

You will guide risk, scope, schedule, and budget while fostering client relationships and delivering projects to a high standard.

Qualifications

• Engineering design and construction experience with power plant projects.
• Experience leading projects using EPC, DBB, or ECI delivery models.
• Strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills.
• Experience in business development and proposals.
• Willingness to travel to US and Canada as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide project management expertise to Energy projects and programs.
• Coordinate with leadership and cross-discipline teams to ensure project execution.
• Support PM best practices and project controls.
• Lead or support proposals and business development efforts.
• Mentor junior staff and ensure client satisfaction.
