Job summary

Stantec seeks a seasoned Project Manager for our Energy & Resources group to lead multi-discipline teams in thermal generation projects. You’ll manage Owner’s Engineer or Detailed Engineering scopes for simple cycle, combined cycle, and repowering efforts across North America, driving growth and risk management.

You will build client relationships, mentor staff, and help guide proposals. This office-based role may require travel to US and Canadian sites and aligning with our PM framework and

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience on power generation projects (Owner’s Engineer or detailed design).
• Minimum 5 years in business development or as a “seller-doer”.
• Professional Engineer registration preferred, but not required.
• Position primarily office-based.

Responsibilities

• Provide project management expertise to Energy projects.
• Manage Energy projects/programs.
• Coordinate with leadership, discipline leads, and teams to ensure alignment.
• Contribute to client satisfaction by fostering excellence and accountability.
• Lead or support proposals and mentor junior staff.
