Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Project Manager for its Energy & Resources business line to lead multi-discipline teams on thermal generation projects. The role includes owner’s engineer and detailed design scope for simple cycle, combined cycle, and repowering projects across North America.

You will drive client service, manage risk, align project objectives, and mentor staff while supporting business development and proposals. Travel to US/Canada sites is required.

Qualifications

• Electrical, mechanical, or civil engineering degree.
• Extensive experience on power generation projects from development to construction.
• Proven track record in business development and seller-doer roles.
• PE license preferred but not required.
• Office-based with travel to US/Canada sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide project management expertise to energy projects and programs.
• Lead multi-discipline teams and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Contribute to project management best practices and framework adherence.
• Support business development and proposals; mentor staff.
• Achieve annual utilization targets and manage resources, schedule, budget, and quality.
• Travel to US and Canadian offices and client sites as needed.
