Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Project Manager in the Energy & Resources line to lead multi-discipline teams on thermal generation projects across North America. You will drive execution for Owner's Engineer or Detailed Engineering/Design roles for simple cycle, combined cycle, or repowering projects, delivering value and managing risk with a client-focused approach.

You will act as a seller-doer, supporting business development and guiding projects to successful completion, while mentoring junior staff

Qualifications

Engineering design and construction experience with power plant projects.
Expertise in Project management including team leadership, resource management, scheduling, project controls, reporting and document controls.
Strong leader, team player, collaborator with interpersonal skills and experience managing a team.
Experience in multiple delivery models (EPC, DBB, ECI, etc.).
Knowledge of multi-discipline engineering services for energy projects.
Experience in business development, proposals, and budget development.

Responsibilities

Provide project management expertise to our team.
Manage Energy projects/programs.
Support and contribute to PM best practices and methodology.
Coordinate with leadership, discipline leads, teams, clients, regulators, vendors and subcontractors.
Promote alignment and consistency of project execution.
