Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Project Manager for the Energy & Resources line to lead multi-discipline teams on thermal generation projects across North America. Role includes owner’s engineer and detailed design support for simple cycle, combined cycle and repowering projects.

You will drive client service, align project objectives, manage risk, and mentor staff while contributing to business development and sustained excellence in project execution.

Qualifications

• Engineering design and construction experience with power plant projects.
• Expertise in project management including team leadership, scheduling, controls, reporting and document controls.
• Strong leader, collaborator, and communicator with experience managing a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide project management expertise to the team.
• Manage Energy projects/programs.
• Contribute to PM best practices and methodologies.
• Coordinate with leadership, discipline leads, clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Lead or support proposals and business development.
• Mentor junior staff and achieve annual utilization targets.

15 years power generation project exp.

5+ years business development / seller-doer
