Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Project Manager for the Energy & Resources line to lead multi-discipline teams on thermal generation projects across North America. You will oversee Owner’s Engineer or Detailed Engineering/Design scopes, ensuring delivery aligned with client objectives and company standards.

Ideal candidates have extensive power generation experience, strong leadership, and a track record in business development and client relationship management.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering or related fields.
• 15+ years on power generation projects, including Owner’s Engineer and/or detailed design.
• 5+ years in business development or as a seller-doer.
• Professional Engineer (PE) preferred.
• Experience across EPC/DBB/ECI delivery models.

Responsibilities

• Provide project management expertise to energy projects and teams.
• Lead multi-discipline projects from development through construction.
• Coordinate with leadership, discipline leads, clients, and vendors.
• Support business development and proposals; mentor junior staff.
• Monitor scope, schedule, budget, and quality; manage risk.
