You will greet patients on arrival, verify benefits, collect patient payments, maintain charts, and coordinate scheduling in alignment with the Therapy Plan of Care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Customer service skills are essential.
• Preferably experience in a medical environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service at all times.
• Obtain therapy benefits for patients and manage related communications.
• Monitor therapy prescriptions for expiry or fulfillment status.
• Retrieve voice messages and return calls promptly and professionally.
• Communicate effectively with therapists on patient matters.
• Inform patients about insurance issues before appointments.
• Keep the work area tidy and clutter-free.
• Check and respond to voicemail messages.
• Cross-train in therapy front desk areas.
• Attend monthly staff and FD meetings.
• Complete tasks with professionalism and courtesy.
• Acknowledge and greet patients on arrival.
• Collect co-pays, co-insurance, and deductibles at service time.
• Explain new patient paperwork and benefits.
• Follow up on inactive patients.
• Schedule new and established therapy patients per care plan.
• Communicate with patients, visitors, and FOI team members.
• Complete chart discharge procedures and prepare for records.
• Distribute and collect mail twice daily.
• All other duties as assigned.
