Job summary

The Therapy Services Representative at Florida Orthopaedic Institute in the St. Petersburg area will handle front desk duties from patient greeting through discharge, including benefit verification, authorization, scheduling, and financial reconciliation.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and manage front desk activities from visit to discharge.
• Verify benefits and obtain authorizations for therapy visits two days in advance.
• Collect co-pays, co-insurance and deductibles at time of service.
• Prepare and maintain patient therapy charts and scheduling.
• Coordinate with Primary Care Physicians, Insurance companies, and Case Managers.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and complete chart discharge procedures.
