Job summary

Florida Orthopaedic Institute (FOI) in the St. Petersburg area seeks a Therapy Services Representative - AFO. You will handle front desk duties for therapy patients, verify benefits, obtain authorizations, collect payments, and maintain therapy charts.

The role requires excellent customer service, the ability to multi-task, and at least one year of experience in a medical environment. This is a full-time position with room for growth within FOI.

Qualifications

• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced front-desk environment.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a medical environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service at all times.
• Verify patient benefits for therapy, including new and ongoing visits.
• Obtain prior authorization for therapy visits via portals or phone.
• Schedule therapy appointments and manage patient flow.
• Collect co-pays, co-insurance, and deductibles at the point of service.
• Maintain accurate therapy charts and assist with discharge procedures.
