Florida Orthopaedic Institute (FOI) is seeking a Therapy Services Representative - Float for the Tampa Bay Area. The role covers front desk functions from patient greeting on first visit to discharge, with emphasis on benefit verification, authorization, and patient financial responsibilities for Therapy visits.

The successful candidate will verify benefits in advance, obtain authorizations, collect payments, maintain charts, and support scheduling and communications with providers and case

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service required.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a medical environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients on arrival at the front desk.
• Verify benefits for therapy patients and obtain authorizations in advance.
• Assist with scheduling therapy appointments per plan of care.
• Collect co-payments, co-insurance, and deductibles at time of service.
• Maintain therapy charts and prepare charge tickets for the business office.
