Cinemark USA, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the theatre’s daily operations and uphold policy adherence. The role involves cross-training across departments to assist where needed and to provide inspirational training to employees.

The position offers opportunities to progress through the Management Accreditation Program toward Senior Assistant Manager and Theatre Manager roles after six months of service. A Customer-first mindset and strong leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School or GED graduates preferred.
• Completion of Cinemark’s MAP program courses (Management Foundations, Annual Certifications, MAP Core).
• Completes basic food handling training and obtains local/state certifications where required.
• Must complete Safe Alcohol Service training if working with alcohol.
• Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent Guest service and accurate cash handling and basic math skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English with all ages and teams.

Responsibilities

• Follows the direction of the General Manager.
• Supports General Manager's decisions in staff communication.
• Responsible for working in all departments and all theatre job functions.
• Trains and coaches Team Members in their specific job functions.
• Assists in preparing administrative and special reports for the General Manager.
• Inspects theatre facilities and equipment and reports repairs as needed.
• Ensures Team Members follow dress code and provide superior customer service.
• Enforces Cinemark Guidelines with fair and consistent conduct.
