Cinemark USA, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Manager to support theatre operations, train staff, and ensure policy adherence across departments. The role offers progression through the Management Accreditation Program toward Senior Assistant Manager and Theatre Manager.

This position emphasizes guest service, cash handling, and safety, with flexible hours including evenings and weekends. You will contribute to a memorable cinema experience for guests.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School or GED graduate preferred.
• Completion of three basic courses within Cinemark’s Management Accreditation Program.
• Completes basic food handling training and any required certification.
• Safe Alcohol Service training for staff handling alcohol.
• Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Regular and consistent attendance with a professional attitude.
• Excellent Guest service and basic math skills.
• Strong English communication abilities.
• Ability to train and lead others; resolve conflicts.

Responsibilities

• Follows the direction of the General Manager.
• Trains and coaches Team Members in their specific job functions.
• Assists in preparing administrative and special reports.
• Monitors theatre maintenance and safety of building and equipment.
• Ensures staff follow dress code and deliver superior Customer service.
• Enforces Cinemark guidelines with fairness and consistency.
• Reports employee relations issues to the General Manager.
• Maintains high work ethic and code of conduct.
• Addresses safety concerns and sanitizes high-contact areas.
