Job summary

Cinemark USA, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Manager to help run the theatre operations, ensure policies and standards are met, and support all departments with training and guidance for employees.

You will be cross-trained across all theatre functions and can advance to Senior Assistant Manager, Theatre Manager or General Manager after completing Cinemark’s Management Accreditation Program and a minimum six months of service.

Qualifications

• High School or GED preferred.
• Completion of Cinemark’s Management Accreditation Program.
• Basic food handling training and any required local certifications.
• Safe Alcohol Service training for managers handling alcohol.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, holidays.
• Excellent Guest service and cash handling skills.

Responsibilities

• Follows the direction of the General Manager.
• Trains and coaches team members in their functions.
• Assists in preparing administrative reports for the General Manager.
• Inspects theatre building, parking lot, and equipment condition.
• Ensures staff follow dress code and deliver superior customer service.
• Enforces company policies and conducts employee relations reporting.
