Job summary

Cinemark USA, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Manager to support theatre operations, ensure policy adherence, and train staff. This role is cross-trained across all departments to assist where needed and to deliver inspiring training to employees.

The path includes progression to Senior Assistant Manager and Theatre Manager after completing the Management Accreditation Program and six months of service.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Completion of Cinemark’s Management Accreditation Program courses.
• Complete basic food handling training and any required local certifications.
• Alcohol-serve training if applicable.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to communicate in English clearly.
• Ability to train and lead others.

Responsibilities

• Follows the direction of the General Manager.
• Supports General Manager decisions in communication with staff.
• Works in all departments and all theatre job functions.
• Trains and coaches Team Members in their functions.
• Assists in preparing administrative and special reports.
• Inspects theatre facilities and equipment and reports repairs.
• Ensures Team Members follow the dress code.
• Interacts with Guests to ensure superior customer service.
• Learns and follows Cinemark guidelines and enforces them.
• Reports employee relations issues to the General Manager.
• Adheres to Employee Relations Reporting Protocol.
• Maintains high work ethic and conduct standards.
• Identifies and sanitizes high-contact areas; uses PPE as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
