Job summary

Cinemark USA, Inc. is hiring an Assistant Manager to help run operations across all theatre departments and ensure policy adherence. You will be cross-trained to support where needed and guide team members as part of the Management Accreditation Program.

The role emphasizes training, guest service excellence and safety, with career progression toward senior roles after six months and completion of required programs. This on-site position includes a competitive hourly rate.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School or GED is preferred.
• Complete Cinemark Management Accreditation Program courses.
• Complete basic food handling training and obtain required certification.
• Safe Alcohol Service training if handling alcohol.
• Availability for evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Regular attendance and energetic attitude.
• Excellent guest service and cash handling accuracy.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team and independently, follow directions and train others.
• Ability to resolve conflicts and manage time effectively.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Follows the direction of the General Manager.
• Supports General Manager decisions and communicates with staff.
• Works in all departments and learns theatre functions.
• Trains and coaches Team Members in their duties.
• Prepares administrative and special reports for the General Manager.
• Inspects theatre, parking, landscaping and equipment condition.
• Reports building and equipment repairs as needed.
• Enforces dress code and delivers superior guest service.
• Maintains safety standards and uses PPE as required.
• Reports employee relations issues to the General Manager.
