Cinemark USA, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the overall operation of the theatre and ensure policies and procedures are followed. Roles include cross-training across departments and providing inspirational training to employees.

The position outlines a path to Senior Assistant Manager, Theatre Manager, or General Manager after completing Cinemark’s Management Accreditation Program and serving for at least six months.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School or G.E.D. graduate preferred.
• Completion of Cinemark's Management Accreditation Program courses (Management Foundations, Annual Certifications, MAP Core).
• Completes basic food handling training and obtains local/state certifications as required.
• Management members who work with alcohol must complete Safe Alcohol Service training.
• Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Regular and consistent attendance.
• Energetic and friendly attitude during each shift.
• Excellent Guest service and cash handling with basic math skills.
• Strong verbal and written English communication; able to work in a team and independently.

Responsibilities

• Follows the direction of the General Manager.
• Supports General Manager’s decisions in communication with the staff.
• Responsible for working in all departments and all theatre job functions.
• Trains and coaches Team Members in their specific job functions.
• Assists in the preparation of administrative and special reports for the General Manager.
• Observes and participates in the inspection of the theatre building, parking lot, landscaping, Cinemark property, roof and exterior signage, and equipment condition.
• Reports the need for repairs to General Manager.
• Ensures Team Members follow the dress code and provide superior Customer service.
