Job summary

Cinemark Assistant Manager assists in the overall operation of the theatre, coordinating across all departments to support staff and maintain high service standards.

They are on a development path toward Senior Assistant Manager and Theatre Manager, completing Cinemark's Management Accreditation Program and gaining experience over at least six months.

This role requires flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays, with strong leadership and guest relations.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School or GED preferred.
• Completion of Cinemark's Management Accreditation Program courses (Management Foundations, Annual Certifications, MAP Core).
• Completes basic food handling training and any local/state required certification.
• Safe Alcohol Service training for managers handling alcohol.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Regular and consistent attendance.
• Energetic and friendly attitude with guests.
• Accurate cash handling and basic math skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with all ages.

Responsibilities

• Follows the direction of the General Manager.
• Supports GM decisions in staff communications.
• Works in all departments and theatre functions.
• Trains and coaches Team Members in their roles.
• Prepares administrative and special reports for the GM.
• Inspects theatre facilities and reports repairs.
• Ensures dress code compliance and guest service excellence.
• Reports Employee relations issues per policy.
