Cinemark USA, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Manager to help oversee theatre operations and ensure policy adherence. You will be cross-trained across departments and play a key role in coaching staff and meeting performance standards.

The role progresses through the Management Accreditation Program toward Senior Assistant Manager or Theatre Manager. A strong focus on guest service, safety, and teamwork is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School or GED graduate preferred.
• Completion of Cinemark Management Accreditation Program basic courses (Management Foundations, Annual Certifications, MAP Core).
• Complete basic food handling training and obtain any required health/certification.
• Safe Alcohol Service training for roles handling alcohol where applicable.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, holidays.
• Regular and consistent attendance required.
• Energetic and friendly attitude in every shift.
• Provide excellent Guest service and accurate cash handling.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication across all ages and teams.
• Ability to work in a team and independently; follow direction; and resolve conflicts.

Responsibilities

• Follow direction of General Manager.
• Support GM decisions in staff communications.
• Work in all departments and theatre functions.
• Train and coach Team Members in their roles.
• Prepare administrative and special reports for the GM.
• Inspect theatre facilities and equipment condition; report repairs.
• Enforce dress code and ensure customer service excellence.
• Ensure compliance with Cinemark guidelines and policies.
• Report Employee relations issues as required.
• Maintain high work ethic and conduct standards.
• Identify and sanitize high-contact areas; use PPE as needed.
• Keep up with cleaning tasks; ensure safety and security.
