Job summary

Cinemark Assistant Managers assist in the overall operation of the theatre, ensuring policies and procedures are followed and standards are met. They are cross trained to support all departments and to provide inspiring training to employees.

The role progresses through the Management Accreditation Program toward Senior Assistant Manager or Theatre Manager after six months’ experience and training, with flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Requires high school or GED; completion of Cinemark’s Management Accreditation Program preferred.
• Interpersonal skills including verbal and written communication with all ages and backgrounds.
• Demonstrated ability to train, lead others, and resolve conflicts.

Responsibilities

• Follows the direction of the General Manager and supports staff communication.
• Works across all theatre departments and job functions.
• Trains and coaches team members in their functions.
• Prepares administrative and special reports for the General Manager.
• Ensures safety, cleanliness, and proper dress code in the theatre.
