Job summary

Cinemark Assistant Managers assist in the overall operation of the theatre, ensuring policies and procedures are followed and standards are achieved. They are cross-trained in all departments to support where needed, and to provide inspirational training to all Employees.

The Assistant Manager can become a Senior Assistant Manager followed by Theatre Manager or General Manager after finishing the Management Accreditation Program and working for a minimum of six months.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School or GED preferred.
• Completion of Cinemark Management Accreditation Program within Cinemark’s MAP pathway.
• Completes basic food handling training and any required local certifications.
• Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Excellent guest service and ability to train/lead others.

Responsibilities

• Follows the direction of the General Manager.
• Trains and coaches Team Members in their specific job functions.
• Supports in all theatre departments and job functions.
• Assists in preparing administrative and special reports for the General Manager.
• Interacts with Guests to ensure superior customer service.
• Enforces Cinemark guidelines and safety policies.
