Job summary

Cinemark is seeking an Assistant Manager to help operate the theatre, train staff, and uphold standards across all departments. You will lead teams, ensure policy compliance, and participate in the Management Accreditation Program to advance to senior roles.

You will collaborate with the General Manager, assist with reports, and ensure exceptional customer service and safety. A flexible schedule including evenings and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School or G.E.D. graduate preferred.
• Completion of Cinemark’s Management Accreditation Program courses within the program.
• Completes basic food handling training and local certification where required.
• Safe Alcohol Service training for managers handling alcohol.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Regular and consistent attendance.
• Energetic and friendly attitude during each shift.
• Excellent Guest service.
• Accurate cash handling and basic math skills.
• Strong communication with all ages and backgrounds in English.
• Ability to work in a team and independently.
• Ability to take and follow direction.
• Urgency in responding to issues.
• Strong time management and detail orientation.
• Ability to train and lead others.
• Conflict resolution capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Follows the direction of the General Manager.
• Supports decisions and communicates with staff.
• Works in all departments and theatre functions.
• Trains and coaches Team Members.
• Prepares administrative and special reports for the General Manager.
• Monitors building, property, and equipment conditions and coordinates repairs.
• Ensures dress code compliance and guest service excellence.
• Ensures proper safety and security practices across operations.
• Adheres to Cinemark’s policies and guidelines.
• Reports Employee relations issues to management.
• Maintains high work ethic and conduct standards.
• Identifies and sanitizes high-contact areas.
• Uses PPE appropriately for tasks.
• Adapts to cleaning task frequency and scope.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
