Cinemark is seeking an Assistant Manager to help oversee theatre operations. You will ensure policy adherence, train staff, and support across departments to deliver exceptional guest experiences. The role advances through the Management Accreditation Program to senior leadership positions.

Successful applicants show energy, teamwork, and strong organizational skills, with a focus on safety, guest service, and cost control. Flexibility with scheduling is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School or GED preferred.
• Complete Cinemark Management Accreditation Program courses: Management Foundations, Annual Certifications, MAP Core.
• Complete basic food handling training and obtain local/state certifications if required.
• Safe Alcohol Service training required for alcohol-handling staff.
• Availability for flexible hours including evenings, weekends, holidays.
• Regular and consistent attendance expected.
• Energetic, friendly attitude and excellent guest service.
• Accurate cash handling and basic math skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal & written).
• Able to work in a team and independently.
• Able to follow directions and train/lead others.
• Resolve conflicts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Follow the direction of the General Manager.
• Support General Manager decisions in staff communications.
• Work across all theatre departments and job functions.
• Train and coach team members in their roles.
• Assist in preparing administrative and special reports.
• Observe theatre facilities and report repairs to GM.
• Ensure staff follow dress code and deliver superior guest service.
• Enforce Cinemark guidelines with fairness and consistency.
• Report employee relations issues to GM or designated system.
