Job summary

Cinemark is seeking an Assistant Manager to help run daily theatre operations and uphold company policies. You will be cross-trained across departments and aimed at advancing to Senior Assistant Manager and Theatre Manager through the Management Accreditation Program.

Responsibilities include coaching staff, assisting with reports, ensuring safety and guest satisfaction, and maintaining high standards of service. This role requires flexible hours and strong teams skills.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School or G.E.D. graduate preferred.
• Completion of Cinemark’s Management Accreditation Program courses.
• Completes basic food handling training and local/state certification as required.
• Safe Alcohol Service training for those handling alcohol.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Regular and consistent attendance expected.
• Energetic and customer-focused attitude.
• Strong cash handling and basic math skills.
• Clear English communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to train and lead others and resolve conflicts.

Responsibilities

• Follows General Manager's direction and supports staff decisions.
• Trains and coaches team members in their functions.
• Assists in preparing administrative and special reports for the GM.
• Ensures theatre areas comply with policies and standards.
• Maintains guest service quality and handles guest concerns.
• Monitors safety, cleanliness and equipment readiness across the theatre.
• Enforces Cinemark policies with consistency and fairness.
• Reports employee relations issues to the General Manager.
