Job summary

Cinemark is seeking an Assistant Manager to support theatre operations, ensure policy adherence, and train team across departments. The role is a stepping stone to Senior Assistant Manager, Theatre Manager, or General Manager after completing the Management Accreditation Program.

Flex hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays are required, with emphasis on guest service, cash handling and safety in a fast-paced cinema environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Completion of Cinemark Management Accreditation Program courses.
• Completes basic food handling training and any local certifications as required.
• Management members working with alcohol must complete Safe Alcohol Service training.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays; regular attendance.
• Excellent guest service, cash handling and basic math skills.
• Strong English communication; team leadership capability.

Responsibilities

• Follows the direction of the General Manager and supports staff.
• Trains and coaches team members across departments.
• Prepares administrative and special reports for the General Manager.
• Ensures compliance with policies and protective safety practices.
• Maintains guest service standards and effective communication with guests.
• Addresses safety, security and housekeeping tasks and reports issues.
