Cinemark is seeking an Assistant Manager to help oversee theatre operations, ensure policies are followed, and maintain high standards. You’ll work across all departments, coaching team members to deliver outstanding guest service and a memorable cinema experience.

This role leads toward advancement—Senior Assistant Manager, Theatre Manager or General Manager—after completing Cinemark’s Management Accreditation Program and a minimum six months on the job.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Complete Cinemark Management Accreditation Program courses.
• Completes basic food handling training and local/state certifications where required.
• Management members who work with alcohol must complete Safe Alcohol Service training.
• Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Requires regular and consistent attendance.
• Ability to train and lead others; strong guest service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Follows the direction of the General Manager.
• Supports General Manager’s decisions in communication with the staff.
• Responsible for working in all departments and all theatre job functions.
• Trains and coaches Team Members in their specific job functions.
• Assists in preparing administrative and special reports for the General Manager.
• Observes and participates in inspection of theatre facilities and equipment.
• Reports the need for repairs to General Manager.
• Ensures theatre Team Members follow the dress code.
• Interacts with Guests to ensure superior Customer service.
• Enforces Cinemark guidelines with fairness and consistency.
• Reports Employee relations issues via approved channels.
• Maintains high work ethic and code of conduct.
• Identifies and sanitizes high-contact areas; uses PPE as required.
• Adapts to cleaning task frequency and scope.
• Addresses safety or security issues promptly.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
