Cinemark is seeking an Assistant Manager to help run theatre operations, train staff, and support the General Manager. This role requires flexibility for evenings and weekends, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment across all theatre departments.

Candidates should complete Cinemark’s Management Accreditation Program, hold a high school diploma, and be able to communicate effectively in English while upholding safety and service standards.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High School or G.E.D. graduate
• Completes Cinemark Management Accreditation Program courses
• Food handling training and local/state certifications as required
• Safe Alcohol Service training for roles handling alcohol
• Flexible hours including evenings, weekends, holidays
• Regular attendance and energetic attitude
• Excellent guest service and teamwork
• Clear communication in English
• Ability to lead others and resolve conflicts

Responsibilities

• Follow General Manager direction and support staff communications
• Work across departments and perform theatre job functions
• Train and coach team members on their roles
• Prepare administrative and special reports for General Manager
• Monitor theatre facilities, equipment, and safety conditions
• Ensure dress code compliance and high guest service levels
• Enforce Cinemark guidelines and report employee relations issues
• Maintain high ethical standards and conduct among managers
• Identify and address high-contact areas for sanitization and safety
• Assist with other duties as assigned
