Cinemark USA, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Manager to assist in all theatre operations and ensure adherence to policies and procedures.

You will be cross-trained across departments and help coach staff as part of the Management Accreditation Program, with a path to Senior Assistant Manager and beyond. The role emphasizes delivering exceptional guest service, ensuring safety and compliance, and supporting the General Manager in daily operations and reporting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School or GED graduate preferred.
• Complete Cinemark Management Accreditation Program courses.
• Complete basic food handling training and obtain local certifications when required.
• Safe Alcohol Service training for roles handling alcohol.
• Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, holidays.
• Regular and consistent attendance is required.
• Energetic, friendly attitude and excellent guest service.
• Accurate cash handling and basic math skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication with all ages and personalities.
• Ability to work in a team and independently; take direction; respond with urgency.

Responsibilities

• Follows the direction of the General Manager.
• Supports GM decisions in staff communication.
• Works in all departments and theatre job functions.
• Trains and coaches Team Members in their roles.
• Prepares administrative and special reports for the GM.
• Inspects theatre building, property, and equipment condition.
• Reports needs for repairs to the GM.
• Ensures Team Members follow dress code and provide superior customer service.
• Enforces policies and processes with fairness and consistency.
• Reports employee relations issues per protocol.
