Job summary

Cinemark USA, Inc. is looking for an Assistant Manager to support theatre operations and ensure policies are followed. You will be cross-trained across departments, coach team members, and help prepare reports for the General Manager.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, MAP coursework completion, and willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Excellent guest service and cash handling are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Complete Cinemark MAP courses and food handling training as required.
• Safe Alcohol Service training if working with alcohol.
• Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Regular attendance and a friendly attitude.
• Provide excellent guest service and cash handling accuracy.
• Strong communication with staff and guests in English.
• Ability to work in a team and follow directions.
• Good time management, organization, and attention to detail.
• Ability to train and lead others and resolve conflicts.

Responsibilities

• Follows the direction of the General Manager.
• Supports GM decisions in staff communication.
• Works in all departments and theater functions.
• Trains and coaches team members in their roles.
• Assists in preparing administrative and reports for the GM.
• Inspects theatre, parking, signage, and equipment.
• Reports repairs to the GM.
• Ensures dress code compliance.
• Interacts with guests to improve service and satisfaction.
• Enforces Cinemark guidelines with fairness and consistency.
• Maintains safety, security and cleanliness; uses PPE as required.
